Testing your website on different resolutions – Screen Sizer

Very short article today to introduce an interesting service I’ve just heard about.

If you wish to test your website or application on different screen resolutions, you can obviously use the popular Screenfly, or you could directly install the free and opensource Screen Sizer on your server.

Screen Sizer, under GPLv3 and written in Python, will display an URL in an iframe of the size of your choice (Either manually or through templates like for Iphone, Kindle, 19″ Desktop, 720p TV, etc…) to let you see the rendering. You can also share the render with the defined resolution through a dedicated link.

A demo is available to let you try or install it on your own server.
